This strategic move reflects Cheam’s commitment to fostering economic growth while preserving and promoting Indigenous cultural heritage.
Under the visionary leadership of the new Chief and Council, Cheam is dedicated to building businesses that align with their core values of environmental stewardship and cultural preservation. The acquisition of Bridal Falls Golf Course is a crucial step towards realizing Cheam’s vision for Indigenous cultural eco-tourism initiatives.
These newly acquired lands will play a pivotal role in creating awareness of Cheam and Sto:lo history and culture. Cheam wants to showcase the natural beauty of the region while sharing the rich tapestry of Indigenous traditions.
